Quick Company Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) can fruit cocktail
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch ungreased cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Frost immediately.
