Plum Kuchen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. butter
2 egg yolks
1/4 c. water
rind and juice of 1 lemon
1/4 c. sugar
1 qt. quartered plums
1 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Sift flour; add butter and cut to resemble fine meal.
Beat yolks; add water, lemon and sugar.
Add to flour.
Stir to blend. Pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cut and arrange plums.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool, sprinkle with sugar.
Can use apples; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
