Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
2 1/2 c. raisins (15 oz.)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and nutmeg; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream brown sugar and butter.
Beat in egg.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in raisins, chocolate pieces and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 5 1/2 dozen.
