Ingredients

1/3 c. water
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. bread crumbs
4 slices American cheese
Preparation

Put beef and sausage in skillet. Add water and cook at medium heat until browned, stirring constantly to break up lumps.
Add other ingredients except cheese.
Mix well and place in 6 open-face hamburg buns. Cut cheese in strips and spread on buns. Place buns on cookie sheet and into a preheated 350\u00b0 oven. Bake for 12 minutes.
Serves 6.
