Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peaches (fresh or canned)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine the peaches with 1 cup sugar; let stand.
    Put butter in a 2-quart casserole.
    Place in the oven to melt.
    Combine the remaining sugar, flour and milk; pour this over the melted butter. Do not stir!!
    Spoon the peaches on top of the batter.
    Do not stir!!
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
