Mom'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 large red Irish potatoes
    1 large yellow onion
    3 c. water
    2 c. milk
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 tsp. celery seed (optional)
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Peel
    and cube potatoes and onions; cook, covered, in 2 cups water in large Dutch oven until almost done.
    Add remainder
    of water and remaining ingredients; simmer until potatoes are tender. Garnish with parsley flakes.
