Deep South Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    5 large eggs
    juice and rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sweet milk
    3 2/3 c. cake flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add oil, two tablespoons at a time.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add lemon juice, rind and salt. Alternate milk and flour, ending with flour.
    Bake in greased tube pan lined with wax paper.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes and remove from pan.
    Cool on cake rack.
