Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (pure)
    yolks of 2 medium eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    about 2 to 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    2/3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter; add egg yolks and beat well. Add sugar; beat well. Add flavoring; beat well. Add a little flour at a time until of consistency for cookie press. Press cookies on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Do not brown. Add any decoration you wish. If dough gets too stiff before all are baked, add a drop or two of milk to batter. Take cookies up before they get cold.
