Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. milk
    3 3/4 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until very light.
    Beat 5 egg yolks and 3 egg whites with butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla and 3/4 cup milk. Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Add to other mixture.
    Put into four greased and floured pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
