Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. powdered milk
1 egg, beaten
water to texture (3/4 c.)

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Add liquid ingredients.
Preheat grease in frying pan.
Drop in hot grease by tablespoons.
Cook until both sides are golden brown.
If grease is deep enough in pan puppies roll over alone.
