Eggnog-Cherry Nut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1 1/4 c. dairy eggnog or homemade eggnog
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Mix egg, eggnog and oil.
    Stir into dry ingredients, mixing well.
    Fold in chopped nuts and cherries.
    Turn into two greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
    Cool in pans 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans, cool on wire rack.
    Makes two loaves.
