Banapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. applesauce
    1 1/2 c. mashed banana
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
    4 large eggs
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. raisins
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Heat applesauce and raisins.
    Let cool while mixing cake. Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour and soda.
    Add banana and milk to applesauce; add to mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
    Dust nuts with 1/2 cup of the flour.
    Stir in last.
    Bake in 3 loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 35 or 40 minutes.
    Cake is done when springs back when pressed lightly with fingertip.
