Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon strips
    1 pkg. Hillshire Farm sausage
    1 c. white rice
    2 (15 oz.) cans diced tomato
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Fry bacon strips until both sides are brown.
    Drain excess grease onto a paper towel.
    Slice sausage in 1/2-inch thick pieces; cook until well heated.
    Add remaining ingredients (except water) in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Add water; stir.
    Bring to a boil; stir occasionally.
    After about 6 to 8 minutes, turn down heat and let simmer until rice is done.
    Serve hot with a side of steamed vegetables.
