Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 c. boiling water
1 pt. sour cream
1 can crushed pineapple (1 lb. 4 oz.), drained
2 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries (10 oz.), thawed (use juice)
2 large or 3 small bananas, whipped until lumps are gone
1 c. coarsely ground walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Mix jello and water.
Stir in remaining ingredients (except sour cream), using juice from strawberries.
Spread half of mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan and chill until firm (about an hour). Leave remaining mixture at room temperature.
When first layer is set, spread top with sour cream and then cover with remaining mixture and chill.
