Mint Cup(May Prepare Ahead. Serves 6.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leaves from 4 sprigs of mint
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 c. fresh lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of green food coloring
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil mint, sugar and water for 5 minutes.
    Strain the syrup. Add the lemon juice, salt and food coloring.
    Chill well.
    Add ginger ale before serving.
