Sausage-Kraut Dumpling Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage
    2 lb. sauerkraut
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 medium potato, grated
    2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Drain sauerkraut.
    Mix remaining ingredients to make dumplings.
    Cut off by teaspoon into boiling water.
    Cook just until they rise to top of water.
    Drain and rinse.
    Mix together with sauerkraut and sausage.
    Put into a casserole dish with small amount of water (about 1/2 cup).
    Heat in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Makes about 3 quarts.
