Carrot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1 c. grated carrots
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine margarine and brown sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Stir flour and spices into creamed mixture.
    Fold carrots and raisins into batter.
    Bake in a 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 40 bars.
