Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, soft
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix butter, eggs, shortening and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Shape into balls by teaspoonfuls.
    Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon and roll cookies in this.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie pan.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Remove when done.
    Makes 6 dozen.
