Yum-Yum Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. maraschino cherries, cut in pieces
1 c. cottage cheese
1 pkg. Dream Whip
3 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix Jell-O with 1 cup boiling water; set aside to cool.
Mix crushed pineapple, cottage cheese, pecans and cherries; add to Jell-O when it begins to thicken.
Prepare Dream Whip using 1/2 cup of cold milk and 3 teaspoons lemon juice.
Fold Dream Whip into Jell-O mixture.
Pour into mold and chill in refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight.
