Olive And Onion Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 oz.) small jar Spanish olives (pimento-stuffed)
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    4 pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
    1 1/2 c. pecans or English walnuts, coarsely chopped
    1 large loaf black Russian bread or dark pumpernickel, uncut
    1 container sour cream
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix (sometimes I use 2)
    1 bag fresh spinach, cut or torn into bite size pieces
    4 Tbsp. beet juice (optional) *
Preparation
    *Provides a pink-colored dip.
