Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 doz. hard-cooked eggs, shelled
    2 pt. white vinegar
    10 whole allspice
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. powdered ginger
    3 cloves garlic
    2 bay leaves
    1 pod red pepper
Preparation
    Arrange eggs in a glass jar; simmer remaining ingredients for 15 minutes.
    Pour over eggs and cover.
    Chill for 24 hours.
    Will keep indefinitely in refrigerator.
    May make 1/2 of recipe if too much.
