Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. pastry flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs (beaten), then milk. Add flour last, sifted with baking powder.
Bake in a moderate oven about 15 minutes.
This makes 2 thick or 3 thin layers.
