Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. pears (weigh after peeled and cored)
    5 lb. sugar
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Grind pears through food chopper.
    Add sugar and boil 50 minutes.
    Add pineapple and boil 25 minutes longer.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
