Autumn Currant Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 prepared pie crust
    2 eggs
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. currants
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    red food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare pie crust.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Beat in sugar, vinegar and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake in hot oven (425\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to moderate (350\u00b0).
    Bake 30 minutes longer; cool.
