2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt; set aside.
In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Beat in eggs.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts.
Drop by rounded measuring tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
Makes about 5 dozen 2 1/4-inch cookies.
