Ingredients

4 eggs, well beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. milk, scalded and cooled to lukewarm
1 c. sweetened shredded coconut
2/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk and coconut.
Mix well.
Butter a 1 1/2-quart glass casserole dish.
Pour custard mixture into dish.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool.
