Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, chopped
    shortening (enough to saute onions and meat)
    2 lb. lean round steak, slivered
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1/4 c. cooking wine (optional)
    2 cloves garlic
    5 Tbsp. flour
    2 small cans mushrooms (save juice)
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 bay leaves
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    dash of Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Saute onions, then beef.
    Add everything else, except sour cream, wine and flour. Cook slowly 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
    You may set aside now until ready to eat.
    Heat again. Thicken with flour dissolved in reserved mushroom liquid. Add sour cream and wine. Serve over rice or noodles.
