Brown Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1 c. molasses
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Stir in molasses.
    Add flour, ginger, baking soda and salt.
    Mix well.
    Chill.
    Roll out on floured surface 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut with fancy cookie cutters; decorate with colored sugars.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
