Pizza Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. warm water
4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Soften yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water.
Set aside.
Pour remaining cup of warm water in a large bowl.
Blend in 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt.
Stir softened yeast and add to flour mixture, mixing well.
Add about 1 cup flour to yeast mixture and beat until very smooth.
Mix in enough flour to make a soft dough.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and allow to rest for about 10 minutes.
Knead for about 8 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic.
