Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. white vinegar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. tumeric
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    4 qt. sliced, unpeeled young zucchini (16 c.)
    2 c. sliced onions
Preparation
    Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and spices to a boil.
    Pour over onions and zucchini and let stand one hour.
    Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes.
    Pack in sterile hot jars.
    Adjust lids and process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
    Remove jars and let stand until cool before storing.
