Apple Roll Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    4 level tsp. baking powder
    raisins
    melted butter
    sliced apples
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    milk
    nuts
    cinnamon
    sugar
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and egg.
    Combine flour, powder and salt.
    Mix alternately with enough milk to moisten (like biscuit dough).
    Roll 1/2-inch thick.
    Spread with raisins, thin sliced apples and nuts.
    Sprinkle on some sugar, cinnamon and melted butter.
    Roll like jelly roll.
    Use waxed paper to help roll.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Ice with thin icing when cold.
