Roll-Em-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    6 to 8 slices bacon
    1 medium onion
    2 Tbsp. oil or shortening
Preparation
    Pound steak on both sides.
    Cut into 3-inch strips.
    Place a strip of bacon and a slice of onion on each strip.
    Fold over and tie with thin string.
    Heat oil or shortening in skillet over medium heat.
    Flour meat and brown in skillet.
    Add a little water and simmer for 1 hour.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
