Evelyn'S Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed
3 eggs, separated
4 Tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
pinch salt
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 9 in. pie shells
Preparation

Mash sweet potatoes, add melted butter, sugar, egg yolks, salt, flavorings, milk and mix.
Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into pie shells.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
