Old Time Mincemeat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped, cooked leftover roast
    1 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. currants
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. boiled cider
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. pie spices
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. apple jelly
    pastry for 2-crust pie
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except meat.
    Cook 1 hour.
    Add meat. Cook 15 minutes.
    Spoon into bottom pie shell.
    Top with second crust.
    Seal edges. Cut steam vents.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350\u00b0 and bake 50 minutes.
    Cover edges with foil if crust browns too quickly.
    Cool.
    Serve with whipped cream. Dee-lish!
