Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium size bell peppers
    1 lb. ground chuck
    3/4 c. rinsed rice (raw)
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 small yellow onion, diced
    1 tsp. red pepper
    black pepper
    salt
    1 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Rinse and cut tops off bell peppers for stuffing.
    In mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except peppers.
    Sprinkle salt and black pepper generously, because a lot of the flavor boils out during cooking.
    Stuff this mixture into peppers.
    Place peppers upright in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Pour about 1 inch of water into bottom of pan without getting water in peppers.
    Bake in oven at 375\u00b0, covered tightly, for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
