Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
juice of 1/2 lemon
3 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. tart apples, peeled and chopped
1 1/2 c. pecans, broken
Preparation

Mix sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, salt and lemon juice. Beat well. Sift flour and baking soda together and add gradually to first mixture. Batter is quite stiff before apples and pecans are added. Add apples and pecans. Blend well. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done. Cool on a wire rack.
