Thirty-Day Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1 medium size onion
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grate (fine) the cabbage and onion.
    Bring other ingredients to a boil.
    Pour over raw cabbage and onion.
    (Use glass bowl, not plastic.)
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Keeps 30 days.
