Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    bay leaf (lift out before adding milk)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
    1/2 c. milk
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet; saute onion.
    Add flour.
    Cook broccoli until done (package directions); drain.
    Add to chicken broth; add onion mixture.
    Bring to boil, stirring to keep from sticking.
    Just before serving, add milk.
    Do not boil after adding milk.
