Italian Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
1 egg
1 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation

Combine ground beef, sausage, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, green onion, egg, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Mix well. Form into 1 inch balls.
Arrange in a ring on microwave roasting rack.
Cook on 80 for 5-6 minutes.
Turn meatballs over; cook on 80 for 3-4 minutes.
Place meatballs on serving platter.
Cover with aluminum foil; set aside.
Pour drippings into 2 c. glass measure.
Add tomato sauce.
Cook on HI for 1 1/2 minutes or until hot.
Pour over meatballs.
Serve with garlic bread and your favorite pasta.
Makes 12 meatballs.
Total cooking time:
9 1/2-11 1/2 minutes.
