Columbian Flank Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. flank steak, cut in strips
1 tsp. salt
3 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. crushed bay leaf
1/2 tsp. fresh thyme
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1 onion, chopped
Preparation

Grind or crush together all ingredients, except the meat.
Rub meat well with the mixture and refrigerate, covered, for 24 hours. Next day, place meat and marinade in pressure cooker with 5 cups water.
Cook under pressure about 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Place in a baking pan and brown in a hot oven, basting with its juice to avoid drying out.
