Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar (half brown)
1 Tbsp. dark Karo
1 Tbsp. warm water
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add beaten egg and Karo. Mix all dry ingredients together; add water.
Mix together. Chill overnight, covered with Saran Wrap.
