Angu(Cornmeal Mush) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    salt and ground black pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced (tsp.)
    2 to 3 c. cold water
    1/2 c. fine (stone-ground) cornmeal
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a large saucepan.
    Cook the garlic and onion over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until soft but not brown. Add 2 cups water and bring to a rapid boil.
