Copper Dollars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    boiling water
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    1 c. sugar
    1 can tomato soup
    3/4 c. cider or with vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Peel and slice carrots in 1/4-inch thick slices and place in saucepan.
    Add water, cover and cook until tender.
    Drain and cool. Slice and separate onions into rings.
    Cut green pepper into strips.
    Combine carrots, onions and peppers into bowl.
