Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (2 1/2 qt.) cabbage
    2 c. green pepper rings
    2 c. onion rings
    3/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Layer cabbage, pepper and onions.
    Mix last 6 items; heat to boiling point.
    Pour over cabbage, onions and pepper.
    Cover.
    Let refrigerate at least 4 hours.
    Toss before serving.
    This will keep a week or more.
    You can use less oil.
