After Church Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb lean beef
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. basil leaves
    pepper to taste
    2 stalks celery
    4 med. carrots
    2 med. onions
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 can. water
    3 med. potatoes, peeled and cubed
Preparation
    Chop beef into 1/2 inch cubes (chuck, round, or sirloin).
