Aunt Be Be'S Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium size yams
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    1 can Pet milk
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. powdered cloves
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 eggs
    1 deep dish Ritz pie shell
Preparation
    Boil potatoes whole with a pinch of salt.
    Add butter to potatoes while still hot.
    Separate eggs.
    Put egg whites aside. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat 5 minutes.
    Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold into pie mixture.
    Bake for 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
