Crunchy Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    125 grams butter
    90 grams Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cayenne (red) pepper
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. crushed cornflakes
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter in bowl until soft.
    Add grated cheese, salt, cayenne, sifted flour and cornflakes.
    Combine beaten egg and milk (reserve 2 teaspoons for glazing).
    Add remaining milk to cornflake mixture and mix thoroughly.
    Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls.
    Put on a greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Press top lightly with a fork.
    Brush top with egg and milk mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
