Virginia'S Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Mix in molasses and eggs.
    Mix in dry ingredients. Roll into small balls.
    Dip one side in granulated sugar and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    (Undercook a little if you do not want them crunchy.)
