Foolproof Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. (2 sticks) margarine
    16 large marshmallows
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips, butterscotch or peanut butter chips
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan mix sugar, butter, marshmallows and milk. Place on low heat.
    After mixture comes to a boil, cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add chips, nuts and vanilla.
    Stir until chips are melted.
    Pour into buttered dish; cut when cool.
