Tomato Juice Cocktail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 qt. tomatoes, peeled and cut up
    1 large green pepper
    7 sprigs parsley
    7 stalks celery
    4 medium onions
    10 cloves
    2 bay leaves
    2 Tbsp. canning salt (not table salt)
    8 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients, except sugar, until well blended.
    Put through juicer; add sugar.
    Heat to boiling point; pour into sterilized jars and seal.
    When serving, add some lemon juice, if you like.
